Okay, so met up with Yasmin, Ashley and Jamie at The Swan on Friday night. Had a bit of trouble getting in because I don't have official ID, but the bus pass from my JSA and a solemn promise from Jamie that I genuinely was over 18 was enough to get me in. There were some movies I'd hoped to get for Christmas that I didn't get, so I took advantage of the January sales and went to get them.

Fran is back online. In the end Dad replaced the power supply, which seems to imply that her blowout was a result of his botched repair attempt. She still whirs a little bit on boot-up occasionally so I suspect there may be a deeper problem with some other part of her internal workings, but for now it's not proving a problem and I'd rather not lose ( Read more... )
